Your Recovery Starts Here

Starting physiotherapy can feel like a big step, but our goal is to make your first visit comfortable, informative, and focused on helping you feel better as quickly as possible.

From the moment you arrive, our team will guide you through a personalized process designed to understand your pain and start your recovery.

Step 1
Initial Consultation

Your therapist will begin by discussing:
• Your current symptoms and pain levels
• When and how the injury started
• Your medical and injury history
• Activities that make the pain better or worse
• Your goals for recovery
This helps us understand the full picture of your condition.

Step 2
Physical Assessment

Next, we perform a detailed physical assessment which may include:
• Posture and movement analysis
• Range of motion testing
• Strength and flexibility testing
• Joint and muscle evaluation
• Functional movement tests
This allows us to identify the root cause of your pain, not just the symptoms.

Step 3
Diagnosis & Treatment Plan

After the assessment, your physiotherapist will explain:
• What is causing your pain
• The recommended treatment plan
• How many sessions may be required
• What you can do at home to support recovery
We believe patients recover best when they fully understand their condition and treatment plan.

Step 4
First Treatment

Whenever possible, treatment begins during your first visit.
Depending on your condition, treatment may include:
• Hands-on therapy
• Therapeutic exercises
• Soft tissue treatment
• Laser therapy or ultrasound
• Stretching and mobility work
Our focus is to reduce pain and start improving movement right away.

Step 5
Insurance Check

During your appointment our office staff will do an insurance check to get the coverage details and by the time you are finished your initial visit we let you know about your coverage, co-pay, number of eligible sessions, length of sessions covered and more

What to Bring to Your Appointment

To make your visit smooth, please bring:

• Comfortable clothing

• Any imaging reports (X-rays, MRI, etc.)

• Insurance information (if applicable)

• A list of medications you are taking

How Long Is the First Appointment?

Your first visit typically lasts 45–60 minutes to allow time for a full assessment and initial treatment.
